I tried PCSX2 on Windows with Lilypad plugin (just to test), and by enabling Multitap 1 (or Multitap 2), I can bind 4 pads and all works fine with PS2 games. I'm using Xbox One controllers.Īll 4 are recognized on Ubuntu but only 2 can be used in the same time with "libOnePad" plugin. I would like to play with 4 pads in the same time. If I need to update the emulator or just use a different version, then I'd like to know how to keep my save-file between emulator versions. (Although if that isn't a possible issue, then just figuring out how to reactivate the Memory Card file is fine.)ĮDIT: Oh yeah, just in case it helps any, I'm using "v1.5.0 dev-2243-g74282b46f". Is there a way to get the emulator to "re-insert" the Memory Card file while the game is still running? I'm asking about doing it mid-game just in case the issue is due to the game loading from a save-state and thus re-loading in a state of not having the Memory Card available.

I loaded my latest save-state, since I had kept playing for a little bit after that message, and the game still can't find the Memory Card. I checked Google, and the only advice I could find was to make sure that nothing was set to "read-only". While I can always just use save-states, I would really prefer to have the in-game save as a backup, in case I do something stupid and manage to save the game in a horrible position.

I've been playing "Sly Cooper: Band of Thieves" recently, and during the third world of the game, I got an in-game message saying that the Memory Card had been unplugged, and that until I re-inserted it, I would be unable to save in-game.
